What you may not know about this album is that first of all, it was one of the first that was totally digitally mastered from beginning to end and the sound is incredible. Second, when Elton recorded this he was facing a possible career ending throat surgery and he thought at the time this might be his final and farewell concert. Fortunately that was not the case…
