Being a WordPress consultant in the WordPress.com community is a terrible thing. I’m always coming across things that I’d like to change or add to my blog as I read your content on your sites. Changing the look and feel of my blog is something that I could do even more often than I do, but recently, I changed to the Splendio theme and I’m quite happy with the results. It’s a little bit edgy for me, but I think the generally upbeat ‘feel’ is consistent with my message of wholeheartedness and self-compassion…
What about you? What’s your take?
Maybe this is a “duh!” question, but what is a WordPress Consultant? Also, I love all of your posts, and Splendido is splendid!!

Thanks for the feedback! Believe it or not, there are actually people who make a living helping other people get the most out of wordpress.com or it’s big sister wordpress.org and I am one of those people. You have a very nice blog [although the title’s a little murky! :-D] and you are making important contributions to the recovery community; the reason you might love all my posts is that I intentionally use Google Reader to make good content flow to me and then share only the best of what I find — part of an intentional process to stay on target and consistent with my ‘theme’ of wholeheartedness. A wordpress ‘consultant’ is kind of like an auto mechanic for some people who want to blog but don’t ‘speak’ fluent wordpress; for those who do, my content collection process combined with effective curation and creation is also a skill that I teach. Did I answer that clearly enough?

You did, and it I did not realize that people could make a living doing this!!! I, sadly, do not speak fluent “wordpress,” and now I know who to ask when I have a question. Thanks so much Todd, and thanks for reblogging me, that always helps readership!

Reblogging is what the wordpress.com community is all about! I’m always happy to promote thoughts of recovery and wholeheartedness. By the way, from time to time I post ideas on better WordPress blogging here; http://toddlohenry.com/category/blogging-tips/ and my business blog is at http://e1evation.com but that might be overkill for you…
