How to Talk to Your Kids About Mass Shootings

I wish we lived in a country where we didn’t have to have regular talks with our kids about totally preventable gun violence, but here we are. Until now, my two sons have been too young to know about the regular horrors that lax gun regulations visit upon our fellow citizens, but I have a feeling I’m going to have to be talking to my seven-year-old about this later today.
