Stephen, you might be interested to know that I actually got my start in political blogging. Back in 2008, I was considered one of the top political bloggers in the state of Wisconsin — that in and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee at McDonald’s. It will also get you a lot of enemies [as you can see in the first page of my Google search]. Eventually, I quit political blogging because quite frankly, it wasn’t healthy for me. For the first time in two decades I am sitting out the presidential election and observing from the sidelines…

In my business life I am an Internet marketing freelancer and I use this blog to help me stay familiar with WordPress.com because I use this tool for many of my clients. The dirty little secret is that I curate this content as a reminder to me so that when I need encouragement, I can search my own blog — if I took the time to post it, it’s probably pretty good [for me, anyway!]. Of course I could keep these things in Evernote and just enjoy them myself, but sharing them is my way of working out my 12th step of recovery. I post these things in a public forum in hopes that the Universe will use them to help one other person with a positive thought when they need it most. It’s also away that I can help great thinkers amplify their thoughts and I like to do what I can in that regard as well…
