Are you a fellow Michigander? There’s nothing in the world like waking up and watching the sunrise on one the Great Lakes. I sure do love my state. In the Spring/Summer of course. Not so much in the Fall/Winter.

That’s funny! I was thinking about that very issue this morning; am I a sunrise or sunset kinda person. I came to the conclusion I love sunrises — especially over the water — much better. Although, there is a lot to be said for a sunset sitting with my wife on the porch enjoying an adult beverage. Just near. We’re planning a trip to the UP next summer. Can’t wait to swim in Lake Superior. It’s my favorite Great Lake.
