Kagen fails with stimulus vote

At a forum this week in Green Bay, multiple local officials and citizens agreed: the so called “stimulus bill” that Steve Kagen voted for has failed to create jobs.

Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt said, “…if the main objective was job creation, I don’t know that we reached that goal.”

“Right here in our own backyard, we see that Democrat promises of job creation and a healthy economy have fallen completely flat,” said state Representative and candidate for Congress Roger Roth.

Brown County Executive Tom Hinz said that many of the programs not chosen for aid would have better achieved the original goal of the stimulus money, which was to create jobs.

“Like any big government program, it is clear that mismanagement and poor decision making prevented any real benefits,” Roth said.

Great content but boring presentation. I’d really like to see some candidate explain this to me in a YouTube video…
