This looks like an interesting tool, however, I’d be looking to accomplish most of this with a Facebook page. Why? Most of the functionality is already built in to a Facebook page and most of the people you want to connect are already there…

I love the tools on chattertree and the site looks great. In regards to Facebook, I deleted my account. The last thing I need is Facebook selling all of my private information especially when it comes to my family. I think I’d rather share with my family on a site that respects peoples privacy.

Thanks, Jennifer! Not a bad point to consider and one that I think will gain more momentum as time goes on. For the past year or so, I think the bias has been to accomplish everything in Facebook. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues…
