This would seem to be true, but not if the person is clueless and/or not introspective enough to look at their own behavior for the problem. I have just experienced this with a friend who misjudged my silence (via phone call and email) to be related to illness instead of her disrespect of my needs. I love silence. It can say a lot if the other person is actually listening. Great quote, which I’ve added to my collection. Thank you.
