Bright, shiny objects! 
There is a short story with a similar title. The people pay no taxes, are not subjected to bureaucracy gone wild, and depend upon each other. I used it intermittently in junior high school to make the point about the rules we live with and whether we always need them. The dialogue in the video was insightful.

I listened to that song as I was landing in Dublin in a terrible storm; every time I hear it it takes me back. Also love the music video…
