Everyday we are faced with so many decisions.

We are blessed.

However, many choices can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Should I go do this or that?

Making a clear decision can be hard and lead to indecisiveness at times.

When you try to choose simply with your mind, there is often confusion.

Have you ever experienced this?

The mind is constantly changing. One minute it wants to turn left, the next minute it tells you to turn right.

When you are faced with a tough decision or choice to make, it is important to feel deeper than your mind.

There is a part of us all that already knows everything since at the deepest level we are everything. The mind is limited and can only see from a limited viewpoint.

Usually, there is a flash of intuition or guidance that knows exactly what to do, yet we often don’t trust it fully.

We go into the mind and begin to question what we are guided to do, or the decision we know we need to make deep down. Perhaps it’s a relationship that we are considering entering or leaving; perhaps it’s traveling to some place, or moving to a different city. Whatever it might be, when you own that you DO know, whether that knowing is conscious or not, you do know. Then it allows the space for the knowing to rise to the surface of your awareness for you to consciously acknowledge it.

No Healthy Lies

New research from Notre Dame University (August 13, 2012) indicates that people that lie have more health problems.

The 10-week study indicates that all people lie by reconstructing the truth (white lie) a minimum of 11 times each week and showed that when a person tells lies they suffer from unnecessary “self induced” stress because the body releases stress hormones which leads to higher heart rate, higher blood pressure, and reduced white blood cell count that over time take a damaging toll on the physical body.

The study indicates that “LITTLE” lies are perhaps more damaging to the human body then their cousin “BIG” lies.

  1. Fact #5: The person who cares the most will often end up doing a task. If you care more about a task being done, you’re more likely to end up doing it—and don’t expect other people to care as much as you do, just because something is important to you. It’s easy to make this mistake in marriage. You think it’s important to get the basement organized, and you expect your spouse to share the work, but your spouse thinks, “We never use the basement anyway, so why bother?” Just because something’s important to you doesn’t make it important to someone else, and people are less likely to share work they deem unimportant. At least not without a lot of nagging.
  2. Of course, there can be an assortment of reasons why you’re not yet getting whatever it is you want. I’m going to suggest, however, that one of the reasons is that you haven’t done EVERYTHING that can be done. So, instead of feeling helpless and confused, revisit the situation at hand, and ask yourself – Are there projects that have yet to be completed? Are there to-do’s that have been patiently waiting to be crossed off of your list?

Your core is perfect! Now what!?

What if it were true that nothing was wrong with you? What if you are actually perfect? And the only thing that prevents you from feeling this way most of the time is the story you tell yourself about why you’re not.

You could have gotten this story from all kinds of places. From your parents, from events that happened, from culture or society – there’s all kinds of places where this story could have come from.

But, what if your core is perfect? What would that feel like? What would that make you think and believe about life and what’s possible?

When I say perfect, I don’t mean the achiever’s definition of perfect… with the house, the cars, the money, the body, etc., etc., etc. I’m not talking about outward “perfection”. I’m talking about intrinsic inward perfection.

What if you were and are a child of The Divine and at your core, you are Spirit and there is nothing wrong with you? But instead, what you think is “wrong” with you are just brilliant ways for you to have gotten your needs met. Your need for Love, to feel valuable, to feel worthy, to feel significant, to feel variety and connection. And that you have been doing the best you can from your point of view to get these needs met?

And what if there were healthier ways to get your needs met?

What story have you been telling yourself about what’s wrong with you?

You’re too – what?

Or… you’re not enough – what?

Are those stories actually true? Or could there be another way? Could there be a more empowering story that you could tell yourself about who you are? Instead of feeling like a failure or feeling wrong or feeling like you aren’t enough – what if you changed the story to…

You did the absolute FREAKIN best that you could given your life circumstances. And that you know that you are MORE than your circumstances and so you can rise above them by making a new choice. That your circumstances are not your identity – your identity is a Soul – an Infinite Soul with Infinite potential connected to an Infinite Creator and that as you learn new skills, make new distinctions and become even MORE aware of The Divine perfection within you – you can create new habits and create a new identity.

If that were true – what would be possible for you? What in your life could change?
