Actually, this is a one of two new baby rams on our farm, but I couldn’t resist the title. My son wanted to bring him to school for show and tell, but this blog post is as close as the ram will get to his classroom…

My favorite photographer Bill Pevlor offers the penultimate Easter Lily image. For me, this is a reminder to buy my wife a big fragrant one — although I admit it’s for me, too — I love the fragrance…
This one goes out to Josie at ‘themiracleisaroundthecorner‘. Great song for a Monday morning here in the western hemisphere…

I posted the photo of this flower a little more than a week ago (Floral Fancy) and at the time I thought this quirky metal sculpture could use an appropriate quote. I added one from Marcel Proust that I thought fitting. If you like it, please pass it around.

Drones aren’t always the rights-infringing death machines conjured up by news stories. Sometimes they do the world quite a bit of good. Take the above nature footage by Thomas Renck, a hobbyist whose camera-equipped tricopter captured a pack of wild coyotes sweeping across a hillside in Riverside, Calif. The vantage point makes the video look like something straight out of a Discovery Channel documentary.

The morning light had an unusual quality over a calm Lake Michigan, accentuated by a sky of interesting clouds. This scene of the Algoma, Wisconsin lighthouse and pier was taken from Algoma’s beach.

This photo has been on my hard drive for many years. I wanted a colorful image for today’s post – something to revive and encourage spring-like expectations. This solitary bloom on a bleeding heart plant in our flower bed is bejeweled with the remains of a spring shower.
