I have no regrets of any kind

I let them go in order to find

A place that is filled with peace

A place where I can find release

There are things that make me cringe

Things I can’t take back or unhinge

I wish they would have never happen

But changing them is not an option

I cannot live my life stuck in the past

Or worry about the bad choices that I have amassed

I can only accept the path I have taken

For that journey has brought me to this junction

All those things that make me sad

Have made me who I am, and for that I am glad

I can’t look back with guilt and shame

For then my future would be the same

So I let go of those things years ago

Not because I don’t care but because I choose to grow
