He is an awakened or enlightened Southern Baptist minister — a category which most would consider to be an oxymoron. This interview is a long, but worthwhile, overview of his perspective on God and religion.

In the spirit of full disclosure, Steve McSwain is a client of mine, but he’s a client of mine because I discovered his thinking on the Huffington Post website and started tracking him in my feed reader.
