In my opinion, Dr. Steve McSwain is one of the world’s foremost thought leaders on the topic of spirituality and interfaith issues. He is an awakened or enlightened Southern Baptist minister — a category which most would consider to be an oxymoron. This interview is a long, but worthwhile, overview of his perspective on God and religion.
In the spirit of full disclosure, Steve McSwain is a client of mine, but he’s a client of mine because I discovered his thinking on the Huffington Post website and started tracking him in my feed reader. I curated and commented on his content and over time, we eventually entered into a support agreement. Words have creative power in them. If I ask you, where you see yourself 5 years from now, I could probably make out where you will be then. I would suggest you to pay attention to the words that you are saying right now about your future. Your words determine your future, so always speak positively about yourself even though your situation is completely against you.
